Use case

Every store you list, in one catalog, one row per product

Add stores by URL. Get their full catalogs with prices and stock, and the same product matched across all of them, even when they share no barcode.

Coverage is the product. Every new store costs a scraper, and matching is where it gets hard.

A comparison site lives on coverage. Affiliate feeds cover the stores that join a network; every other store needs its own scraper, its own field mapping and repairs when the site changes. Then you still have to decide which listings are the same product.

Barcodes don't settle it. Many stores don't show one, and some show the wrong one. Even in electronics, the same model is listed as a single unit, a pair, or in three finishes.

How it works

  1. 1
Analyze · freeAdd each store by URL.You get the product count, a difficulty tier, a quote and a sample of real products. Ten stores a month are free.
  2. 2
ScrapePull the catalogs. One file per store, in the same schema: name, price, availability, images, brand, and EAN where the store shows it.
  3. 3
Match · free sample firstGroup the same product.Run the free matching sample, check it, then the full run. Re-runs bill only new or changed products.

What the data looks like

The matches file links product IDs across stores. Join it with each store's product file and you get every store's offer for one product. This is a real product from our run, after the join, trimmed to a few fields.

What you can do with it

Each store's name, price and link for the same product, ready for one product page, cheapest first.

What one run found

We scraped 700 hi-fi product pages from each of three UK stores and matched them. 264 products turned up in all three. Sevenoaks shows no barcodes at all, so two thirds of the 1,092 matched pairs had no shared EAN. Where both stores did show one, 45 pairs disagreed: in the cases we checked, one store listed the barcode of another colour or of a pair.

Most prices were identical: 88% of the products found in all three stores cost the same everywhere. One in ten differed by more than 5%, and those are the rows a comparison site exists for.

Questions

Do the stores need EAN codes?

No. Matching compares names, specs, prices and images, then checks each pair with AI. It also keeps colours, sizes and single-or-pair listings apart.

Why not use affiliate feeds?

Use them where they exist. Affiliate networks like Awin or CJ cover only the stores that join them, with the fields each store chooses to send. Scrape the stores they don't cover here, and match everything into one catalog.

Can I try matching before paying?

Yes. Every project gets one free matching sample.

How do I keep prices fresh?

Re-run the scrape, or send a list of product URLs. There are no scheduled runs or webhooks yet, so use your own cron.

Which stores work?

Online stores on any platform. Marketplaces like Amazon, eBay and Allegro are not supported.

What does it cost for my stores?

Analyze each store for free and you get the exact quote. The charge never goes above 1.5× that quote.
