# DeepScout

> DeepScout collects product data (prices, availability, product details) from any e-shop and matches the same product across shops without needing EAN or barcodes. It is offered as a managed B2B price intelligence service for retailers and brands, and as a self-serve REST API and MCP server that anyone, including AI agents, can use directly.

This domain (deepscout.ai) is the marketing site. All technical documentation lives at https://docs.deepscout.ai. Use the docs for anything about implementation: authentication, endpoints, jobs, pricing rules, errors and MCP setup. The docs are LLM-friendly:

## Self-serve API & MCP

For developers and AI agents. No sales call needed: sign up, add an e-shop by its URL and pay per result from prepaid credit.

How it works: add an e-shop → a free analysis shows its scope, difficulty and sample products → approve a full scrape at the estimated price → match products across shops → download the exports (JSON Lines by default, XML on request). Each step is an asynchronous job.

## Managed B2B service

For e-commerce retailers and brands that want competitor price and assortment intelligence without building anything. DeepScout sets up data collection for the chosen competitors, matches their products to the customer's catalogue, and delivers reports, exports and API access. Scrapers repair themselves when a competitor redesigns their site. Used by leading European retailers such as Alza, Biano and Bonami.

Typical use cases: price comparison against competitors, assortment gap monitoring, research before international expansion, monitoring distributor prices for brands, catalogue matching across millions of products, and matching private-label products with no standard identifiers.

Pricing is based on the number of products, the monitoring frequency and the number of competitors, from $250 per month.
